The Sound of Music (Youth Edition) is presented by the Primary Players Children’s Theatre Group, Feb. 6-8. This production is co-directed by John Cherry and Derrik Wright, music direction by Dr. Ken Hawkins, choreography by Katie Giebudowski.

The Sound of Music is based on a true story. The 1965 movie version starring Julie Andrews earned five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and stands as the most successful movie musical of all time.
