Ben and Mary fire up the grill to welcome the new neighbors who’ve moved into the long-empty house next door. The fledgling friendship soon veers out of control, forcing Ben and Mary to confront their finances, their marriage, and their secret selves. Detroit merges the economic anxiety and spiritual discontent plaguing the nation into a comedic bacchanal of epic proportions.
“Detroit” will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 18 in the Clayton Center for the Arts’ Haslam Family Flexible Theatre.
