The annual Maryville College Christmas performance will take place at 7 p.m. in the Clayton Center for the Arts’ Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre and will include selections by the Orchestra at Maryville College, directed by Dr. Ace Edewards; the Maryville College Community Chorus, directed by Dr. Dwight Dockery ’05; the Maryville College Concert Choir and the smaller ensembles Off Kilter and the Lassies, under the direction of Stacey Wilner; and the Lads, directed by Dr. Jennifer Olander Anderson ’05.

“A Maryville College Christmas” is an annual tradition that brings together the College’s ensembles and community musicians for a festive celebration of the season. This year’s concert will feature “The Ceremony of Carols” by Benjamin Britten and a “Carol Sing” with the orchestra and chorus, along with additional music of the season. The event highlights the College’s collaborative spirit, uniting performers of all ages to share music that captures the joy, beauty, and tradition of Christmas.

Tickets are $20.00 plus tax for general admission. Free for MC faculty, staff, and students, although a printed ticket from the Clayton Center box office is required for admission. For more information, call the box office at 865-981-8590.
