A1LabArts is a Knoxville-based artistsโ membership organization with a long tradition of encouraging creativity, collaboration, and community.
Throughout A1’s existence, their members have organized and supported a wide range of exhibits, performances, workshops, classes, discussion groups, collaborations with other organizations, participation in community events, ad other activities — some of which are difficult to categorize and some of which have become legendary. The “lab” part of their title suggests experimentation.
A1 is a nonprofit corporation established in 1995 and is an IRS-certified tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Charitable contributions to A1 are tax-deductible.
