Solitude. A photographic exhibition of the “personhood” of spaces
Adrienne Schwarte is currently a Professor of Design, and Coordinator of the Sustainability Studies Minor at Maryville College.
She has worked as a graphic designer, photographer, consultant d communications specialist for over twenty-two years for companies and organizations such as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, KTTC-TV (NBC) and the NHL Dallas Stars Hockey Team. She’s provided design and consulting services, for Parsons Public Relations, The Little River Watershed Association, Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, In Defense of Animals-Africa (IDA-Africa), Mountain Challenge, Mane Support, A Place to Stay, Foothills Land Conservancy, Plaza Property Services, Susan Sneed for TN State House, District 20, among dozens of others. She regularly presents at conferences on sustainability, including the International Conference on Climate Change, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education Annual Conferences (AASHE), the National Conference and Global Forum on Science, Policy and the Environment (NCSE).
