The Maryville College Concert Choir, Off Kilter, Lads & Lassies will present a concert of choral music with a theme of social and political change. Included in the program will be arrangements of “We Shall Overcome”, “If I Had a Hammer”, “Blackbird” and “Big Yellow Taxi”. Since the choir is touring during the Lenten season, there will also be meditative selections such as “Nearer My God to Thee” and “Esto Les Digo”.
Guest performer will be the Scottie Singers under the direction of Katie Wagner Philips ’03 and assisted by Ella Morse ’26.
Tickets are $10.00.
Maryville College faculty, staff and students are free but must obtain a ticket from the Clayton Center for the Arts Box Office.
As a gathering place for the community and its visitors and as the home of the Maryville College fine and performing arts program, the Clayton Center for the Arts provides opportunities for the lifelong expression and appreciation of the arts.
